Engine-turned gilt plate with circular engine-turned silver dial, circular grained chapter-ring with Roman numerals and minute divisions, moon-phase aperture above, the blued-steel disk inlaid with gold moons and stars. Apertures for weekdays, date and months below. Blued-steel Breguet hands. M. Shaped brass plates with turned pillars,fusee with chain and maintaining power. C. Four-body, the band decorated with oval vignettes of summer flowers on an opalescent pink ground surrounded by graduated split-pearls (one repaired), with alternate panels of red and blue enamel motifs. Split-pearl bezels, the back panel with a polychrome enamelled scene of a courting couple draped with with garlands of flowers standing before a statue of Cupid. Hinged cuvette decorated with vivid translucent enamel fruits and flowers on a turquoise ground. D. White enamel with Roman numerals,minute and seconds marks. Blued-steel 'Scoties' hands. M. GiIt brass, lepine caliber with large going barrel, cylinder escapement with plain balance and flat spring. Repeating on two gongs by depressing the pendant. In very good condition. Diam. 55 mm.

C. Outer double body,"bassine pincée", the bezels with a champleve enamelled decoration in a Greek pattern, the back with flowers, finely painted, "en grisaille" on a black ground. outer scrolled champleve decoration. Inner four body "bassine pincée" with a decoration matching that of the outer case, the back finely painted "en grisaille" with a trophy of astronomical instruments, on a pink ground. The watch can be turned in the outer case in such a way it can be used as an open face or as a hunter. D. White enamel with Turkish numerals. Gold Breguet hands. C. Elongated octagonal, with applied gold foliage swags on the sides,acanthus borders and frame around the Iid. Matted and trellis pattern ground, the base with an engraved urn of fruit and pendant drapery. Lid centred with a scene of a naked lady, in applied gold bathing in a pool with satyres,also in gold watching from a hiding place in the rocks above,a hinged gold fish providing access to the let-off for the automaton, the winding square also hidden behind a rock. Interior of the lid with a hinged panel embossed and chased with the Three Graces, secured by two removeable pins and opening to reveal the automaton scene with silver figures of a gentleman reclining in a chair and a lady in a most uncompromising position from which she can adequately inspect the cleanliness of his shoes, the background of engraved brass depicting a drawing room.
