In the 1980s Cartier decided to revive the splendour of its finest Art Deco creations with this type of desk clock, some with alarm. Among those re-created were the famous Pendule Mystérieuse Prisme, Basculante and Triptyque clocks. All featured typical Art Deco forms, colours, and materials.
