Gilded 0.935 sterling, enamel and malachite, key-winding, borne-shaped, 8-day going, 8-day going desk clock with one horological complication: Minute-repeater on two steel gongs (activated by depressing the push-piece on the top) The centre of the dial is painted in watercolour with a Chinese landscape scene. Movement based on the Swiss invention patents: No. 21 800, delivered on July 12, 1900, to E. Mathey-Tissot & Co., Les Ponts-de-Martel, for a "Mécanisme de répétition à minutes"; No. 25 658, delivered on April 2, 1902, to E. Mathey-Tissot & Co., Les Ponts-de-Martel, for a "Régulateur de vitesse du petit rouage des montres à répétition"; No. 30 225, delivered on February 17, 1904, to E. Mathey- Tissot & Co., Les Ponts-de-Martel, for a "Pendule à répétition".
