Matile, Henri François LaSagne, Neuchâtel, June 15, 1831 - Eudora, Kansas (U.S.A.), May 26, 1915 Watchmaker active in LeLocle (Neuchâtel mountains). He married in 1853 Virginie Ducommun-dit-Veron (Neuchâtel, August 25, 1832 - Erie, Pennsylvania (U.S.A.), June 29, 1871). They had 6 children there before they emigrated to the U.S.A. (Louise, Anna, Charles, Emma, Ella, and Caesar). They arrived in New York Harbor on the ship "Harvest Home", August 3, 1867, settled in Erie, and there they had 2 more children (William and Henry). In 1871, after Virginie died, Henri married Georgia Anna Snowrow and they had 3 children, and moved to Kansas with most of their children, sometime between 1878 and 1880 (Julius was born in Erie in 1878 and they were already living in Eudora, Kansas, on the 1880 census (Louise and Anna remained and lived their lives in Erie).
