HEUER - SEAFARER, RETAILED BY ABERCROMBIE & FITCH Heuer, Swiss, retailed by Abercrombie & Fitch Co., Ref. 2447, made circa 1960. Fine, water-resistant, stainless steel wristwatch with round button chronograph, registers and tide-indicator.

Three-body, polished and brushed, screwed-down case back, flat bezel, lapidated lugs. Silver with baton indexes, auxiliary sunk matte silver and blue dials for the tide indication, 30-minute and the 12 hour registers. Luminous dauphine hands. Cal. 721, rhodium-plated, 17 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance, shock-absorber, selfcompensating flat balance spring.

Made towards the end of the production of the Seafarer model, this model features the larger and wider Carrera style case. Featuring sharp angles, and a perfectly matching patina on the lume to the dial and indexes, a rarely seen and unusual model, in excellent original condition.
