Notes

To date, no information is known about this watchmaker – Jean Spech – who is active in Geneva, as demonstrated by this watch dated 1806. He probably works for Dufour, Fol & Cie.
This watch is decorated with the portrait of Napoléon I who won the Battle of Austerlitz – the “Battle of the Three Emperors” – on December 2, 1805, considered a tactical masterpiece and probably the firmament of the Napoleonic epic.
