JULES JURGENSEN OPENFACE POCKET WATCH PINK GOLD Jules Jürgensen, Swiss, No. 14522. Made circa 1882. Very fine 18K pink gold keyless pocket watch with Jûrgensen's patent bow hand setting, patented in 1867. Accompanied by a copy of the Jurgensen archive in the amout of CHF 479.90.

Four-body, "bassine", polished, Jürgensen's patented bow hand setting, glazed caseback over movement. White enamel with black radial Roman numerals, outer minute track. Blued steel Breguet hands. 42 mm. 15 jewels, main with gold screwed chatons, straight-line lever escapement with elongated fork, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, large index regulator with engraved scale on the center bridge.
