Double body, Louis XVI with rose-diamond set bezel, the back with applied rose-diamond set foliage decoration over engraving in a hatched pattern and centred with diamond set flowers applied over a translucent purple ground. D. White enamel with Roman numerals and outer Arabie minute ring (slightly restored on the winding pole border). Rose-diamond set Louis XVI bands. M. Hinged gilt brass full plate with column pillars, fusee with chain, verge escapement, plain brass three-arm balance, flat balance spring, gilt brass continental cock with polished steel end-piece. Signed on the dial and back plate. In good condition. Diam. 42 mm.
