Goudstikker, Paris, circa 1920. Fine and rare very flat 18 ct. gold and enamel Rosicrucian keyless dress watch in original fitted case.

Three piece "bassine pincée" case with a blue translucent enamel overall over engine turning, white champlevé circular strips, the pelican feeding its babies with its own heart painted on the back. Engine turned dial with Breguet numerals. Blued steel Louis XV hands. GiIt brass movement, 18 jewels, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring. Signed on the dial. In very good condition. Diam. 48 mm. The pelican feeding its babies with its own heart is the symbol of the Rosicrucians and of the 18th symbolic grade of the Free Masonry.
