French, 18th century.Carved and gilt wood watch holder, representing a portico supported by four columns, the watch aperture decorated with a garland of flowers, the whole inlaid with geometric patterns and freemasonry symbols, such as an eye within a triangle, surrounded by two chimera, raised on a shaped and carved wood base.
