Newsome & Co., London & Coventry, No. 131065, with London hallmarks for 1897. Very fine 18K gold, early, centre seconds, keyless lever pocket chronometer with 34 minute Karrusel regulator, awarded a Class A Kew Certificate with a total of 78.6 marks.

C. T1- nee body, massive, "bassine " , polished, by Isaac Jabez Theo Newsome (Master Mark), the back engraved with the monogram "S.L.S.". Hinged gold cuvette engraved with a dedication dated 1901. D. White enamel with sunk centre, Roman numerals. Gold "pear" hands. M. 20"', frosted and gilt, threequarter plate, 17 jewels, pointed tooth lateral lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance with gold screws, balance spring with terminal curve. Bonniksen 34 minute Karl usel regulator. Signed on the back plate. In very good condition, accompanied by a copy of the Kew Certificate. Diam. 57 mm.
