Omega Marine This model was launched in 1932 by Omega with a case patented in Switzerland as No. 146.310, delivered on March 10, 1930, to Louis Alix, Geneva, for a "Boîtier étanche de montre-bracelet". This invention was also patented in the following countries: France, under No. 710 316; Great Britain, under No. 365 356; Germany, under No. 567 213; USA, under No. 1 907 700. The Omega Marine was the first watch to be tested at a DEPTH exceeding 70 meters.
