Notes

According to the Omega archives, the original movement was swapped at some point with a movement only 300 numbers apart from the original one, so it can be assumed that it was done at a fairly early point. Impressive by its 45mm.size, it is part of the same series than the Omega that belonged to Peter O Tool known as the "Lawrence of Arabia". That watch was sold by Antiquorum in November 2000, at the record price of the time of CHF 86'000. See A Journey through time by Marco Richon, page 526 and 527 for similar examples.
