Very fine 18 ct. gold keyless pocket chronometer with up/down scale, awarded the third prize at the Geneva Astronomical Observatory Timing Contest 1912-1913. Four body massive "demi-bassine" polished case. Gold cuvette engraved with the awarded prize.White enamel dial with Breguet numerals, subsidiary seconds and up/down sector. Blued steel "pear" hands. Very fine nickel plated "Extra" quality 18"' movement, "fausses côtes" decoration, 21 jewels, equilibrated straight line lever escapement, brassinvar guillaume balance, blued steel balance spring with a terminal curve and a swan neck micrometric index. Signed on the dial, the case and the movement. In very good condition. Diam. 50 mm.
