Patek Philippe launched the Aquanaut, in 1997, at the Basel Watchmaking Exhibition, starting with the reference 5060, the same as the one we are presenting. What the manufacture describes as a “sports, young, modern and unexpected » wristwatch was an immediate and great commercial success. Its case takes up the beautiful octagonal-shaped designed by Gerald Genta for its eldest, the Nautilus: a tribute between refinement and robustness! For several years, Thierry Stern, President of Patek Philippe, has been asking for a limited production cap (for instance 58,000 copies in 2017). Actually, only 1,000 copies of the reference 5060 were produced in stainless steel and yellow gold. This model is all the more rare as it is a limited edition, distinguished by its very fine white dial with bâtons numeral accents highlighted by the 18k (750) yellow gold case.

Ce modèle est d’autant plus rare qu’il s’agit d’une édition limitée, qui se distingue par son très beau cadran blanc index bâtons mis en lumière par le boîtier en or jaune 18k (750).
