Notes

This watch was presented at auction 40 years ago, in Spring 1979, at the first sale ever organized by Antiquorum in Hong Kong, by its founder Mr. Osvaldo Patrizzi. Provenance Antiquorum, Hong Kong, auction, May 28, 1979, lot 73. The quality of execution of this timepiece and its serial number, as well as similar models, allow us to attribute it to the Louis Audemars House from Le Brassus, Vallée de Joux. It should be noted, however, that the production sheets of the watch No. 8 644 are unfortunately no longer present in the Historical Archives of the Louis Audemars House, now kept by Mr. Paul Audemars in England.
