"Chronomètre Royal" Vacheron & Constantin, Genève, "Chronomètre Royal", No. 508654, case No. 335605, Ref. 4838. Made in 1953. Very fine and rare, 18K yellow gold gentleman's wristwatch with hacking center-seconds, and a yellow gold buckle. Accompanied by original fitted box, certificate, bill of sale, and Observatory certificate.

C. Three-body, solid, polished, flat bezel, oversized straight lugs. D. Silvered, with applied yellow gold hexagonal indexes, outer minute and seconds divisions. Yellow gold "dauphine" hands. M. Cal. 1008/BS, stamped twice with the Seal of Geneva Quality Mark, rhodium-plated, "fausses côtes" decoration, 19 jewels, straight line lever escapement, beryllium balance with timing screws, adjusted to temperatures, shock-absorber, Breguet balance-spring, swan-neck micrometer regulator, visible balance stop lever. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 35 mm. Thickness: 10 mm.
