Notes

Movement based on the Swiss invention patent No. 101 652, delivered on September 30, 1922, to Vacheron Constantin, Geneva, for a “Raquette de montre” (Index regulator).
This movement, calibre “17 M Extra”, was manufactured in 1931 and was never commercialised. At the time of its manufacture, this type of movement is one of the highest levels of quality and finish offered by the House. It also incorporates the recent Vacheron Constantin’s Swiss patent for the index regulator (No. 101 652). These movements are generally destined for the United States of America, where they were case by the manufacturer’s retailers (we would like to thank the Vacheron Constantin Heritage Department for providing us with this information).
