Very rare three quarter plate movement with fusee, unusual alternate impulse pivoted detent escapement .The 'scape wheel has two sets of teeth, those of longer radius serving for locking and those of shorter, for impulse; therefore, the balance makes a complete oscillation every half second, and impulse is given every full second, allowing a dead beat seconds hand. White enamel eccentric, with Breguet numerals, central aperture revealing the verge escapement with a small mock balance, small subsidiary calendar ring above the aperture. Blued-steel hands.
