Set with the train of wheels on a revolving plate beneath the dial, the straight line lever escapement with cut bimetallic balance and Breguet balance spring, is turning around the dial in 5 minutes. Three piece, bassine et filets, polished case, a small compass set in the winding crown and small knurled wheel on the band for the distance gauge. White enamel dial on the front with Roman numerals, outer gauge scale calibrated for 20 Km and inner for 15 km. White enamel dial on the rear face for the 15 seconds chronograph, inner red 5 kilometer telemeter ring and subsidiary minute register. Movement with straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring. Diam. 53 mm.

Unusual and very rare eight day going watch movement with 30 days Republican calendar. Large white enamel dial by Borel, with Roman numerals, outer Arabic calendar ring, subsidiary small sector for the regulator. Large gilt brass movement with large going barrel and inverted train of wheels, cylinder escapement with plain brass three armed balance set beneath the dial. Diam. 61 mm.

Ferdinand Berthoud No. 592, circa 1775.

Very rare and important movement of a Montre à secondes à deux battements ou vibration, built on the principle, described in Ferdinand Berthoud: Essai sur l' Horlogerie, published in 1786, page 214 to 216, plate No. XXVII. Later specially made engine-turned case, forme quatre baguettes. Later white enamel dial with Roman numerals and inner seconds ring. Gilt brass full plate movement with fusee and chain, cylinder escapement, large plain brass three armed balance and gilt brass continental cock, flat balance spring and agate endstone. The movement can be stopped at will, by means of a small lever on the edge of the dial. Diam. 51 mm.

Extremely rare experimental center seconds pocket chronometer movement in a later silver case. White enamel eccentric dial, with Breguet numerals and outer seconds ring on the border. Full plate gilt brass movement with cylindrical pillars secured by screws, going barrel, early pivoted detent escapement, plain brass three armed balance, flat balance spring with unusual bimetallic compensation curb on the regulator. Honoré Pons signature scratched on the front plate below the dial and on the dial enamel backing. Diam. 56 mm.
