Three body, "bassine et filets", with rose diamond-set band, pendant and bow, the winding crown in the form of a Royal crown, the back of rock crystal applied with a rose-diamond set spray of flowers within a similar diamond set garter. D. Rock crystal with applied diamond set motto: " DIEU-MON-DROIT", on black enamel cartouches, in place of conventional numerals. Diamond set "Louis XV" hands. M. 12"', gilt brass with gold wheel train, 29 jewels, counterpoised straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring. Repeating on gongs with slide in the band. Fine and very important 18 ct. gold, eight day going, keyless, minute repeating, "grande and petite sonnerie" clock watch with chronometer escapement, made for Henri Charles Ferdinand, Comte de Chambord, in a silver gilt protecting case.

Silver gilt protecting case, the cover chased and pierced with the arms of France and entwined scrollwork, the interior engraved with the monogram "C". D. M. 21"', gilt brass double train, with gold wheels, 39 jewels, two barrels with differential winding, spring detent escapement, two-arm compensation bimetallic balance, free-sprung blued steel helical balance spring with terminal curves. Grande and petite sonnerie on two gongs with a further separate train for minute-repeating with slide in the band of the case, grande/petite, Silence/sonnerie slides on the border of the movement. Vincent & Cie., circa 1870. Very unusual and rare, hour and half hourstriking, commemorative automaton clock, in the "troubadour" style, made of steel and porcelain, especially made for the coronation of Henri V, King of France for less than eight days.

C.Designed as a belfry, a soldier in armour, and military trophies on either side, a bell with automaton hammer on the top. Side and front porcelain panels decorated in the Renaissance style, with the coat-of-arms of the Duke of Bordeaux below the dial, portraits of Henri IV and Marie de Medicis, on the base, side panels bearing the mottos: Vcnite adorea in loco. D. Porcelain with a matching decoration, Gothic numerals on raised cartouches. blued-steel "trefle" hands. M. C. Double body, Louis XVI, glazed on both face, the bezels with scrolled decoration on a blue chanpleve enamelled ground. D. Whit enamel on the front with Roman numerals, outer Arabic minute ring and the month with the equation of time for each decade. Tavernier à Paris No. 354, circa 1790-1840. Highly unusual, and very fine 18 ct. three coloured gold full calendar watch in the Louis XVI style.

C. Double body "Louis XVI", the bezels chased with entrelacs, the back with a finely executed allegory of love and fidelity in the style of an XVIIIth century wedding presentation watch. D. White enamel chapter ring with radial Arabic numerals, outer minute ring and inner days of the week, central silver plate with apertures for months, date, the four parts of the day and phase of the moon its age engraved on the border, with manually set year. Gold Louis XVI hands. Gilt brass dial-plate edge engraved with the equation of time for each month of the year. M. Hinged gilt brass full plate with cylindrical pillars, fusee with chain, cylinder escapement, plain brass three-arm balance, flat balance spring, gilt brass pierced and engraved continental cock with garnet end-stone. Subsidiary sector at the top for the days of the week, with inner revolving moon globe. Bluedsteel Breguet hands. M. With twin going barrels, the going-train remontoire with double fly regulators wound by the striking train, Graham dead-beat escapement with jewelled pallets, halfseconds beating pendulum with wood rod and knife-edge suspension.
