Shaped, black lacquered and polished, the rectangular base supported on four, gilt bronze, near contemporary dragon feet with central applied antique head above symmetrical foliage, side and shoulder pieces; gilt bronze bezel chased in light relief with petal decoration, the pediment surmounted by the figure of a hall clad youth wearing a helm and with his left hand resting on a sphere, seated on the body of a decapitated warrior. D. Relief chased gilt bronze, the centre decorated with a bird with spread wings standing on a footed basin within symmetrical foliate and floral motifs with strapwork. Roman numerals enamelled in blue on a white ground in individuel plaques set into the dial plate (hairline cracks to those for V and X), Arabic minutes engraved directly on the circumference of the dial-plate; silvered volvelle at 12 o'clock for the date of the month, lower centre winding hole and arbor. M. Rectangular plated, turned conical pillars, single train with going barrel, anchor escapement, flat bob pendulum with steel rod, suspension modified, wound through the dial. Gilt bronze female bottom corner pieces extending roto feet, Gilt metal framed, glazed door with gilt metal applied scene in the centre bottom of the centaur Eurytion abducting either Hippodamia or one of the daughters of Dexamenos. The arch with applied, chased gilt bronze beading with central grotesque head and drop pieces in the form of cocks standing above shields and swags. Matching pediment and bracket, the pediment surmounted by a figure of a female warrior. D. Gilt bronze with Roman numerals on enamel plaques surrounded by Arabic minute numerals on the edge on the plate. Steel hands centre decorated with a sun-burst above fruit and foliate decoration. M. Rectangular with turned conical pillars, two train with going barrels for each, verge escapement, flat bob, brass rod pendulum with silk suspension and cycloidal cheeks, striking on a bell; external locking plate. Brass circular with mirror polished back plate and skeletonised front plate, pin-wheel escapement with sector shaped escape wheel, subsidiary double steel cylinder escapement mounted on its arbor and releasing every 60 seconds the very large escape wheel with pin-teeth placed alternatively on either side. Concealed motion work. Seconds beating pendulum with eliptical brass bob and beat adjustment on the crutch. Movement in turned banded cylindrical case with engine-turned bezel, supported on a stretcher with scalloped-edge drape decorated with a chased caduceus flanked by symmetrical scrolled tendrils on a matt ground. The stretcher is further decorated by draped swags of vine leaves with grape bunches, and is carried on the shoulders of two putti each seated on the back of a seated goat. on top of the movement a nude, reclining bacchæ tilts her head backwards to swallow the last drops of wine from her upraised goblet. the whole mounted on a white marble base with inverted stylised tulip border and engine-turned side panels. D. White enamel, typical of Lepine with mixed Roman and Arabic numerals, outer Arabic minute ring and inner red date chapters. Pierced and engraved gilt bras hands. M. Brass circular with going barrels on both the going and the striking trains, anchor escapement, pendulum with silk suspension. Striking on a bell with count wheel on the back plate. Lépine à Paris, Horloger, 12 Place des Victoires, No. 4333, the bronze by Deverberie, circa 1800. "Le Baiser" - Magnificent gilt and black lacquered bronze, hour and hall hour striking, " Pendule au Nègre", with calendar, after a design by Deverberie.

C. Oval gilt bronze base on six cylindrical flat topped feet with milled edges, the face with a framed rectangular relief sculpted scene of four piccaninnies in a landscape of desert and palmtrees, fishing, hunting and gardening under the watchful eye of Cupid. Corresponding plaque on the back with applied gilt brass diamond on a black ground, the serai-circular ends with applied swags and floral decoration.The dock case and movement supported by a rock with water-fall below and trailing sea-weed strands. Standing on the rocks to the left of the dock a hunter with quiver of arrows on his back and grasping a bow and arrow inclines towards the right to embrace and kiss a girl leaning backwards from the right over the movement. Both figures are clad only in palm-leaf skirts with chased belts worked "à jour", and palm leaf head-pieces. The reclining girl holds a gourd and leaf in lier right hand, her left reaching up to embrace the head of her lover, and has a double row of pearls round her neck. Both figures have their eyes in white enamel with blue pupils and wear coral earrings. D. White enamel, typical of Lepine with mixed Roman and Arabic numerals, outer Arabic minute ring and inner red date chapters. Pierced and engraved gilt bras bands. M. Brass circular with going barrels on botte the going and the striking trains, anchor escapement, pendulum with silk suspension. Striking on a bell with count wheel on the back plate.
