Patek Philippe & Cie, Geneve, circa 1940. Fine and extremely rare eight day going moon phase astronomical quarter striking and repeating, "World Time", table clock, in original fitted box.

C. Gilt metal circular, mounted on a rectangular moulded green marble base. D. Central local time with Roman chapter XII and indexes. Gilt brass hands. Outer 24 hour, night and day revolving Arabic chapter ring with gilt metal sun at noon and moon phase ball at midnight, showing the time of the 70 cities recorded on the border. M. Gilt brass rectangular with turned pillars, going barrels both on the going and the striking trains, platform with straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring. Striking and repeating on gongs with button on the top and strike/silent lever on the back. Signed on the dial. In excellent condition. Dim. 28,5 x 20,5 x 10,5 cm.

Atherton, London, No. 571, circa 1790. Very fine, unique, 22K gold and agate, architectural table clock commemorating the late King and Queen of France and their heir.

C. Designed as a small temple with agate side panels and dome, the corners applied with double fluted Corinthian columns, further floral, garland decoration, finials and ball feet. Garnet set bezel on the front face, back and side panels, each applied with chased gold profiles of Louis XVI, Marie Antoinette and their son, known as Louis XVII, within garnet set frames. D. White enamel with Roman numerals. Blued steel "poker and beetle" hands. M. Hinged gilt brass fully skeletonised with conical pillars, fusee with chain, verge escapement, plain brass six-arm balance, flat balance spring, small gilt brass balance cock centred with a silver regulator disc. Signed on the cock. Dim. 143 x 67 x 67 mm.

C. bicolour, massive, polished, the yellow gold cover, opening by the means of two push-pieces on the side, is decorated with two white gold stripes, engraved band, white gold lugs. D. champagne with painted Arabic numerals + auxiliary seconds dial. "Spade " blued steel hands. M. 9"' gilt brass, 18 jewels, lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, flat balancespring. Recordon, Spencer & Perkins, London, No. 142, Swiss, made for the Chinese market, circa 1785. Important and large early 20K gold, enamel, ruby and pearl-set quarter-repeating "perpetuelle " watch with special escapement.

C. Two-body, bright-cut engraved edge with invisible hinge, the bands with applied rope-twist gold decoration on a finely matted ground, the bezel set with twin split-pearls intersected by cabochon rubies, the back decorated with blue translucent enamel (very small invisible repair), within a border of applied gold roundels, and centred with an oval enamel portrait bust of a young woman within stone and pearl-set frame; case opened by pulling upwards on the repeat pendant. Marks for Neuchatel, 20K gold, "I.G.F" Maker's Mark, No. 7051. D. White enamel (faint hair lines towards centre), with Roman hour and Arabic minute numerals. Moon hands. M. Gilt-brass full-plate with turned pillars, goingbarrel with self-winding by means of a large navetteshaped weight with unidirectional operation through a ratchet-and-pawl, one straight pin-banking spring on the weight ,the return controlled by a coil spring on the pivot arbour; the weight locked when fully wound by a steel ratchet arm automatically lifted into place by a pin on the barrel cap. Double-wheel duplex escapement with brass `scape wheels, plain three-arm brass balance with flat balance spring and tangential regulator, pierced and engraved continental cock with diamond end-stone. Quarter-repeating on a bell by depressing the pendant. Gilt dust ring. Signed on the movement. In excellent condition. Diam. 70 mm.

Double body, with split-pearl set bezels and pendants, the backs of blue translucent enamel over engine-turning, with split pearl-set border, the very fine applied diamond and pearl set decoration, each centred with a large rose-cut diamond. Hinged gilt brass cuvettes. D. White enamel with Roman numerals and outer minute and seconds ring. Gold arrow hands. M. Gilt brass, fully chased with scrolling foliage decoration, Chinese calibre drawn from that of Lepine with free standing barrel, duplex escapement, plain flat five-arm polished steel balance with flat balance spring and diamond end-stone. Breguet & Fils No. 2497, "Pendule a Almanach", sold to Prince Aldobrandini on 9th June 1810, for 2544 Francs. Very fine small gilt bronze quarter repeating, moon phase astronomical eight day going travelling clock with full calendar and alarm.

C. Multi-piece, glazed sides and back, flanked by Doric pilasters, the frame chased with foliage decoration, simple bow pattern handle secured by two lion's heads, four turned finials and standing on chased bun feet. D. Silver engine-turned with Roman numerals on a polished chapter ring and a large concentric aperture for the engraved silver moon phase disc, the age engraved on the border. Blued steel Breguet hands. Gilt brass dial mask, the top corners engraved with scrollwork and overlaid below the dial with a gold engine-turned plaque engraved "en reserve" with the signature and winding indications on border of the winding squares. Apertures for the year, clay of the week, date and month. M. Rectangular brass full plate, the large going barrel passing through the back plate, straight line lever escapement, plain brass three-arm balance, blued steel balance spring with terminal curve and unusual bimetallic compensation curb on the regulator index. Alarm striking and repeating on a bell. Signed and numbered on the gold plate below the dial. In very good condition, accompanied by the Breguet certificate No. 4102. Dim. 12 x 8,5 x 6 cm.
