Very fine and very rare, silver, gold, enamel and rose diamond-set, eight day going, minute-repeating desk clock with the original Cartier gold-tooled morocco leather fitted traveling box and diamond-set key.

Rectangular silver with white champleve enameled borders, the bezel decorated with white enamel beading, entirely decorated with a translucent mauve guilloche enamel, gold paillon ?R.A? and winding direction arrow, side panels centred with small applied rose cut diamond-set stars, the top with applied pierced gold monogram of interlaced ?L?, shuttered winding holes, sugar-loaf amethyst push-piece, raised on bun feet. D. White enamel with the words ?Bons Souhaits? in place of numerals, outer minute track. Rose-cut diamond set arrow hands. M. Gilt brass by Nocturne, No. 2317, rectangular with going barrel, frosted and gilt platform with straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, repeating on gongs activated by the push-piece at the top.
