Patek Philippe & Cie, Genève, No. 867894, case No. 661080, Ref. 1518, lst series, produced in 281 examples froin 1941 to 1954, made in 1950, sold on the 7 December 1951. Very fine and rare astronomie, 18 ct. gold gentleman's wristwatch with square button chronograph, register and tachometer, and perpetual calendar and moon phases.

C. massive, polished, concave bezel. D. mat silver with applied gold Arabic numerals + auxiliary seconds and 30 minutes register dials, outer tachometer graduation, graduation for the days of the month, apertures for the days of the week, the months and the lunations. "Feuille" gold hands. M. 13- Q rhodiumed, "fausses côtes" decoration, 23 jewels, lever escapement, monometallic balance adjusted to 8 positions, self-compensating Breguet balance-spring, micrometer regulator. Dial, case and movement signed. In excellent condition. Diam. 35 mm.

Not signed, attributed to Frères Rochat, made for the Chinese market, sold for 136 Guineas, circa 1815. Magnificent and rare 18 ct. gold and enamel, pearl set singing bird box with independent music, in original red Morocco fitted box, the invoice stuck inside.

C. Four body rectangular, the bottom and sicle panels of translucent blue enamel over engineturning (slightly restored), borders with champlevé floral decoration on a blue ground. The musical box side cover opening on the location for the key, the lid of the patch box with split pearl set bezel, set with an enamel panel painted with a Cupid making a secret gesture. The symmetrical singing bird cover painted with a Cupid archer. M. Gilt brass musical movement with pin-barrel and twin groups of Pive stacked steel blades. Small square gilt brass full plate singing bird mechanism, fusee with chain, stacked cams, fly regulator and external rectangular Bellow. In good condition. Dim. 84 x 47 x 19 mm.

Not signed, attributed to Moulinié, Bautte & Cie, Geneva, made for the Chinese market, circa 1810. Very fine and rare 18 ct. gold and enamel, pearl and diamond-set, coinbined watch and perfume sprinkler in foret of a pistol.

C. The grip of translucent scarlet enamel over engine-turning with split-petrls set borders, the watch concealed on the end of the butt, the cover with rose-diamond set border, chased with decoration and centred with an emerald. Diamond-set back centred with an opal cabochon. Gold plates, finely chased with a dog on one face, a rabbit on the reverse and framed with rosediamonds. The barrel of cobalt blue translucent enamel over engine-turning, decorated with paillonne scroll design simulating damascene work. The perfume is spread out through the pistils of a gold lotus flower with enamelled petals, which is shot out of the barrel, released by the percussion of the diamond-set hammer when the trigger is depressed. D. White enamel with Roman numerals. Blued steel "spade" bands. M. Gilt brass full plate with cylindrical pillars, fusee with chain, verge escapement, plain bass threearm balance, flat balance spring, gilt brass continental cock with polished steel end-piece.
