Fine 18-carat gold and enamel diamont set "montre à tact" with original chain and ratchet key. The double body case type fermé, made by Tavernier (case and dial maker) of blue translucent enamel over engine turning (slightly restored on the edge), revolving diamond set arrow, hour touch pieces with paillonné flowers, half hours marked by seed pearls, diamond set touch piece at the top. Gold cuvette with aperture for the dial. Small silver dial with Breguet numerals. Blued steel Breguet hands. Signed and numbered gilt brass movement, " souscription" caliber, the going barrel set at the center, Breguet over hung ruby cylinder escapement, plain three armed brass balance. In good condition. Rare and important 18-carat gold half quarter repeating lever watch, "sur le principe des gardetemps", with certificate No. 3724.

Four body engine turned case "quatre-baguettes" ( renewed), made by Joly (case maker), gold cuvette. Engine turned silver dial with Roman numerals and offset subsidiary seconds. Blued steel Breguet hands. Most inusual frosted gilt brass movement, 15 jewels, early straight line lever escapement, the first made by Breguet with "draw", two armed cut bimetaIIic balance with recessed screws, double "parachute" suspension one at each pivot, Breguet balance-spring with adjusting coller. Repeating on gong with a single hammer by mean of a locking pump. In good condition. Diam. 48 mm.

Three quarter plate 20''movement, 18 jewels, in screwed setting with going barrel, right angle lever cut escapement, cut bimetaIIic balance with gold screws, Breguet balance spring. The escapement is set on a 34 minute revolving carriage driven by the second's wheel pinion, therefore the term of "Tourbillon" as inscribed on the dial is justified. In very good condition. Heavy four body, "bassine" engine turned case, the cover with a champlevé enamelled monogram below a Ducal crown. Glazed cuvette. White enamel dial with Roman numerals, concentric minute ring and subsidiary seconds. Blued steel " Lys" hands. Good nickel double train 18movement, "faussescôtes" decoration, 29 jewels, the two gold trains of wheels are wound simultaneously. Going train with equilibrated straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance-spring. Independant second train after Moïse Pouzait, striking on gongs by means of a slide on the band. In good condition. Diam. 55 mm.

Jean André pinxit, anno 1686. Joh. Leonh. Pomel, Nürnberg, Watchmaker. Extremely rare and magnificent 22-carat gold and painted enamel watch, the second actually known, signed and dated by this eminent maker, Master in 1675. Pierre 1st Huauld's pupil in 1661, also trained by François Legare and Pierre Royaume, associated goldsmiths.

Bassine case, painted overall on enamel, the principal scene depicting Athena and two Cupids; she wears an armour and a helmet and her buckler is decorated with a Gongone's head. The frieze on the band with alternate florets and four small landscapes after Gabriel Perelle's engraving, a farm-house with a tower, painted inside the case. (very slightly restored around the pendant). Plain gold bezel. The original gold pendant being completed with an articulated bow. Enamel dial with Roman numerals, the center with a painted portrait of Diane with her dog. Fine full plate movement with pierced Egyptian pillars, four wheel train, fusee with original chain, verge escapement, three armed plain steel balance, English style cock, pierced and engraved with scrolls and flowers. In good condition. Diam. 42 mm.
