HAMILTON MARINE CHRONOMETER GILT BRASS AND WOOD Hamilton Watch Co, Lancaster, Pennsylvania, USA, No. N7634. Very fine mahogany two-day marine Chronometer with winding indicator. Accompanied by a fitted outer wooden box with leather strap and ratchet key.

Three-body, with brass handles, all the edges and corners protected by heavy brass inlay, the glazed upper section with hinged lid locked by a catch. Brass bowl and gimbaled suspension, ratchet key in its socket in back right corner. Silvered with upright Arabic numerals, outer minute ring, subsidiary seconds and up-and-down scale. Blackened steel "spade" hands. Nickel, "fausses-côtes" decoration, full plate with baluster pillars secured by screws, 14 jewels, fusee with chain and maintaining power, spring detent escapement, two-arm patented ovalizing Volet balance with Invar arm and steel rim, free-sprung Elinvar Extra polished helical balance spring with terminal curves.

LONGINES 36-HOUR MARINE LEVER CHRONOMETER Longines, "Chronometer", movement No. 6403052. Made circa 1945. Fine, 36-hour going, keyless, marine lever Chronometer with power reserve indication, in a mahogany deck box.

Two-tier mahogany box, gimballed and weighted brass case, threaded glazed bezel with reeded edge. Glazed cover over the movement. Matte silver, radial Arabic hour numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o'clock with Arabic 10-second numerals, power reserve indication below 12. Blued steel spade hands. 19''', rhodium plated, 17 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance adjusted to three positions, blued steel Breguet balance spring, patented cam-type micrometer regulator.

Three-body, solid, polished, engraved leaf motif decorated bezel and case back side, stripe pattern engraved case back, hinged metal cuvette. Two tone champagne with Arabic numerals, outer minute division, subsidiary seconds dial. Yellow gold pierced lozenge hands. Cal. 73, gilt, 16 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, swan-neck regulator.

Fine and rare, gilt brass, Grande & Petite Sonnerie, calendar carriage clock. Fine, gilt brass, 8-day going, Grand and Petite Sonnerie striking and repeating carriage clock with calendar and alarm. Accompanied by a winding key.

Multi-piece, rectangular sides and matte-finish, hinged handle, button on top for the sonnerie Circular white enamel with radial Roman numerals, outer minute track and Arabic five-minute numerals, white enamel alarm setting and day and date calendar dials below, Blued steel Breguet hands. Rectangular brass plates, going barrels for the going and striking trains, barrel for the alarm train, lateral lever escapement on a large silvered platform, notched bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel flat balance spring, index regulator, striking and repeating on two gongs with two hammers, strike selection lever in the base. Movement plate stamped 6454. DIM. 14.5 x 8.3 x 9.5 cm.
