Double train posted frame with square pillars and conical feet, two bells with external pillars at the top, anchor escapement with brass 'scape wheel, striking train with pin wheel locking. C. Iron rectangular, the shaped front of brass engraved with scrolls and flowers, lateral doors, the bell at the top. D. GiIt brass with Roman numerals and outer Arabic minute ring, central revolving alarum setting disc. Later blued steel hands. M. Brass, with standing barrel, verge escapement, short pendulum beating in front of the dial. In good condition. Dim. 17 x 14,5 x 4,5 cm.

C. Engine turned gilt bronze, in form of a temple, glazed on each side, the handle and repeating push piece at the top. D. Engine turned giIt brass, with Roman numerals. Blued steel Breguet hands. M. Brass, three trains, with fusee and chain on the going train, cylinder escapement, plain brass three armed balance. Four quarter striking with an independant train. Striking and repeating on gongs. Fatton, Paris, circa 1840. Fine and important cherry tree 8 day going, hour and hait hour, repeating carriage clock with alarm.

C. Rectangular with a giIt bronze handle. D. White enamel with Roman numerals. Blued steel Breguet hands. M. Brass, signed. "Viel Robin, Horloger du Roi" on the back plate, with going barrel both for the going and the striking trains, cylinder escapement, plain three armed brass balance, flat balance spring. Robert Molyneux, 30 Southampton Row., London, circa 1840. Important ancI rare mahogany, 8 day going carriage clock with a chronomeer escapement and a dead beat center seconds.

C. English type with four glass pannels, giIt bronze feet, large brass handel (slightly damaged). D. Silvered with Roman numerals and subsidiary seconds. Blued steel Breguet hands. M. Brass, with cylindrical pillars, fusee and chain, maintaining power, Earnshaw spring detent plaetform escapement, hait second beating extra large bimetallic balance with compensation limiting device, free sprung helical balance spring, diamond endpiece. Robert, La Chaux-de-Fonds, circa 1820. Important and rare mahogany, 8 day going, grande and petite sonnerie quarter repeating carriage clock with alarm and dead beat center seconds.

C. Rectangular with gilt bronze bezel, handle and feet. D. White enamel with Breguet numerals (hair cracks), Blued steel hands. M. Round in brass, three trains with going barrels, lateral lever plateform escapement with extra large plain three armed brass balance beating the seconds, flat balance spring. Striking and repeating on two bells. In good condition. Dim. 21,8 x 11,5 x 15,2 cm.

Anonymous, France, circa 1808. Rare and fine ormolu and blackecl bronze hour and hait hour striking "pendule au negre", drawing patented on August 1808, entitled. "Le Matelot".

C. The movement is set on the cubical cotton bail, blacked bronze standing slave with enamelled eyes. The ormolu base with a central "bas relief" depicting cupids loading a vessel. D. White enamel with Roman numerals and outer Arabic minute ring. GiIt bronze Directoire hands. M. Round in brass, of Paris type, with going barrels for both the going and the striking train, anchor escapement, pendulum with silk suspension. In good condition. Dim. 38 x 31 x 12 cm.

Paul Garnier, Horloger de la Marine, Paris, circa 1850. Rare mahogany, 8 day going, hour and half hour striking, with a special escapement.

Brass, rectangular, with going barrels both on the going and the striking train, Paul Garnier frictionnai rest escapement drawn from that of De Baufre, plain three armed brass balance, flat balance spring.
