Fine and large, water-resistant down to 30 atm., cushion shaped, titanium nitrate treated stainless steel, military diving wristwatch, original water repellent leather band with Panerai buckle, a solid mahogany fitted box and certificate.

"Baton " tritium-coated hands. M. 16"' ETA, rhodium plated, "fausses cotes" decoration, 17 jewels, lever escapement, Glucidu - balance, 4 adjustments, shock-absorber, selfcompensating flat balance-spring. This watch is in new condition and is the pre-series to the new Italian Navy Panerai wristwatches. No 01 - Engineer Zci No 02 - Engineer Lanni No 03 - Engineer Zavattaro No 04 - Deputy Chief Principal The last consignments of Panerai to foreign military forces were made in the 1950's. Many Forces were among their clients, including the "Kampf Schwimmer" of the German Secret Services. Nevertheless, the Florentine manufacture went on with its production of precision instruments, but exclusively for the Italian Military Navy.
