A. LANGE & SÖHNE - GOLD HUNTING CASED CHRONOGRAPH A. Lange & Söhne, Glashütte B/Dresden, No. 63283. Made circa 1915. Very fine and rare, large, 18K pink gold, hunting-cased pocket watch with 1st Quality movement with Lange Guillaume-type balance, chronograph and progressive 30-minute register.

Four-body, bassine, polished, chronograph button in the band at 6, the front cover with a white champlevé enamel monogram. Hinged gold cuvette. White enamel with Arabic numerals, outer minute track concentric with fifths of a second chronograph divisions, outermost red Arabic five-second numerals, subsidiary seconds, 30-minute register. Louis XV gold hands. 19''', matte gilt, 1st Quality, 21 jewels, straight-line lever escapement with gold fork and escape wheel, Lange precision bimetallic compensation balance cut in the manner of Guillaume, gold temperature adjustment screws, Breguet balance spring with terminal curve, foliate engraved cock, diamond endstone, swan-neck micrometer regulator, visible mechanism for the chronograph with gold chronograph wheels.
