A. LANGE & SOHNE SILVER OBSERVATION WATCH A. Lange & Söhne, Glashütte/Sa., movement No. 202339, case No. 1079621. Made circa 1942. Fine, large, keyless, silver deck and pocket lever Chronometer with power-reserve indication and Lange Guillaume balance.
Four-body, "bassine," polished. Hinged silver cuvette. Brushed, copper-colored with painted black Arabic numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds at 3, power-reserve indication at 9. Blued steel spade hands. 21''' caliber 48, frosted gilt, three-quarter plate, 17-jewels, straight-line lever escapement, Lange Guillaume balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring with patent stud fastening, swan- neck micrometer adjustment to the regulator.
