Notes

This Extract from the Archive from the German Watch Museum Glashütte, dated July 14, 2010, confirms the authenticity
of a silver observation watch with caliber 48, model ALS, manufactured by A. Lange & Söhne, Glashütte. The movement
number is 200304 and case number is 200304. It was sold to Kriegsmarinewerft, Kiel, on December 29, 1941.

The watch features a case without a spring cover but with a silver inner cover, a fineness of 0.900, and a «Lucia» case style. It has 16 jewels, a hairspring regulator with a backlash spring, a nickel-steel movement with 35-hour power reserve indication, and aplexiglass crystal. The watch passed quality control at production stage 3 on April 1, 1941.
