This Extract from the Archive from A. Lange & Söhne, dated September 8, 2000, confirms the authenticity of an observation watch with caliber 48, model ALS, movement number 201111, and case number 201111. It was sold to Kriegsmarinewerft, Wilhelmshaven, on February 27, 1942.

The watch features a silver case with winding and setting mechanism (power reserve indicator). It passed quality control at production stage 3 on February 27, 1942, and was delivered to the company Andreas Huber in Berlin for final assembly.
