Founded in 1845, in Glashütte, by Ferdinand Adolph Lange (1815-1875, A. Lange & Sohne is probably the most famous German manufacture specialized in complicated and classic luxury watchmaking. The Lumen series features a transparent smoky grey sapphire dial with luminous material. It has undergone four variations : Grand Lange 1, Grand Lange 1 Moon Phase, Zeitwerk and the latest Datograph. Launched at the 2016 SIHH, the Grand Lange 1 Moonphase Lumen is a limited edition of 200 pieces, all in platinum and at 41mm in size.
