In 2010, in honour of the founder Lange precision watchmaking, A. Lange & Sohne is presenting a unique trilogy of new models in the special “Homage to F.A.
Lange” collection. The LANGE 1 TOURBILLON “Homage to F.A. Lange” collection is one of the three masterpieces. With its patented stop-seconds mechanism for
the tourbillon, it symbolises Lange’s conviction that even what is already perfect can be further refined. The edition is limited to 150 watches.
The common denominator of this special collection is a case made of 18-carat honey-coloured gold, a totally new, particularly hard alloy with a characteristic hue.
The tourbillon cock, the tourbillon bridge, the intermediate-wheel cock, and the hands of the LANGE 1 TOURBILLOM “Homage to F.A. Lange” are made of the
same precious metal.
Another special feature of this watch is the solid-gold guilloched dial. The movement incorporates a balance spring developed and manufactured in-house.
Inspired by historic Lange pocket watches, the crown –wheel cock features a sunburst finish. The three-quarter plate is decorated with undulated ornamentation,
and the signature “A. Lange & Sohne, Glashutte i/Sa” is engraved by hand.
