Sachsen, "Richard Lange Tourbillon Pour le Merite," movement No. 88317, case No. 198320, No. 090 / 100, Ref. 760.025F. Made in a Limited Edition of 100 pieces in 2011. Extremely fine and rare platinum wristwatch with visible one-minute tourbillon, off-center hour dial with pivoting dial segment, large central minute dial and a platinum A. Lange & Söhne deployant clasp. Accompanied by the original fitted box, a travel box, instruction booklet and warranty.

Three-body, solid, polished and brushed, rounded bezel, transparent case back with 6 screws, sapphire crystals. Matte solid silver, subsidiary off-center hour dial with pivoting dial segment, black painted Roman numerals, large central minute dial with outer minute divisions with red 15-minute markers, aperture for the visible tourbillon regulator at 7. Blued steel alpha hands Cal. L 072.1, fausses cotes decoration, 31 jewels including 3 in screw-mounted gold chatons, power equalization with chain and fusée maintaining power and stepped planetary gearing, tourbillon cage, lateral lever escapement with one-minute tourbillon regulator with equidistant polished steel three-arm carriage, Glucydur balance with screws adjusted to 5 positions, shock absorber, self-compensating Breguet balance spring, hand engraved balance bridge.

Dial, case and movement signed. DIAM. 41.9 mm. THICKNESS 12 mm. Specially ordered by the original owner, the current lot is in a platinum case fitted with BLUED STEEL ALPHA HANDS. Normally, the standard platinum edition is fitted with white gold alpha hands, while the Boutique Edition in white gold cases are fitted with blued steel alpha hands. To the best of our knowledge, this is the ONLY KNOWN EXAMPLE to exist in this highly-coveted combination.
