ALAIN SILBERSTEIN SINGING BIRD IN A BOX OPUS 2 - LIMITED EDITION Alain Silberstein, Architecte Horloger, Un Oiseau Dans La Boite, No. 58/99. Made circa 2006. Very fine and rare, limited edition, oval, steel and black lacquer singing bird box. Accompanied by an Alain Silberstein pen watch and original fitted Alain Silberstein presentation box.

Two body, black lacquer with reeded stainless steel trim, Alain Silberstein engraved stainless steel cover opens to reveal the singing bird, activated by a push button on the front, the bottom with built-in-key to wind, aperture on the top to hold the watch pen. Gilt brass, going barrel and bellow, the revolving bird with moving wings, beak and tail, controlled by two cams mounted beneath the barrel wheel, pierced and engraved gilt-brass grille. Pen watch with mechanical 17 jewel movement, black dial with Alain Silberstein hands and signature. Case signed and numbered.
