ALAIN SILBERSTEIN LIMITED EDITION "BAUHAUS" WALL CLOCK Alain Silberstein, Architecte Horloger, "Wall Kontwas Bauhaus", No. 63/99. Made in the 1990s. Fine, elegant and unusual, iron, gilt-brass, suede and Perspex, 8-day going, hour striking wall clock with exposed movement. Accompanied by two suede-covered weights, serpentine steel pendulum and crank key.

Rectangular with four pillars, entirely suede covered, Perspex front and sides, the top with gilt-brass bell surmounted by a stylized angel on a suede-covered ball. Transparent and frosted Perspex cabochon hour indexes. Suede-covered triangular and serpentine baton hands. Four iron posts secured into the top and base, barrels for both trains with red cords, gilt-brass wheel train, anchor escapement, striking on a bell on the top of the case with a single conical hammer, multicolored fly governor.
