ANDRE BORNAND LARGE ONE-MINUTE TOURBILLON THERMOMETER Andre Bornand, Geneve, No. 20656. Made circa 1967. Extremely fine, rare and important gilt open-faced keyless pocket Chronometer with one minute tourbillon regulator and thermometer.

Three body, massive, "bassine et filets", glazed cover for the movement. Silver with black roman numerals on a plain reserve, hand engraved center, outer minute track, sunk subsidiary seconds, thermometer indication at 12.. Blued-steel Breguet hands. Rhodium plated with "fausses côtes" decoration, 15 jewels, movement stamped twice with the Geneva hallmark, two armed cut bimetallic balance with gold poising screws, blued steel balance spring with terminal curve and arc limiting pin, polished steel tourbillon carriage, driven by the minute wheel.
