Silver, hunting-case, key-winding, oval-shaped, pre-balance pocket watch, made for the Turkish market.

Cover and case-back polished; loose-ring pendant.

Gilded brass and silver dial with radial Turkish numerals; gilded brass hand.

Movement, oval-shaped, 19’’’ x 17’’’, full plate, gilded brass, “Balustre” pillars, fusee and chain, lateral-wheel engraved with foliage, verge escapement, monometallic circular foliot (polished steel), pierced and engraved gilded brass “Louis XIII” continental cock in Persian style, silver regulator disc; the plate engraved in taille-douce (fine cut) with foliage and a cartouche with the name “Arlaud” in Arabic letters.
