Chromium-plated metal, open-face, keyless-winding, round-shaped, pocket watch, with automaton; the animated scene (connected to the small second) shows a butcher butchering a lamb on his stall.

Cover polished.

White enamel dial, with suspended Arabic numerals.

Movement 19’’’, ¾ plate, gilded brass, going barrel, independent platform with lateral lever escapement, monometallic balance with poising screws and blued steel flat hairspring, polished steel index-regulator; patented mechanism for automata.

Movement based on the Swiss invention patent No. 25 299, delivered on February 21, 1903, to Arnold Augsburger, La Chaux-de-Fonds, for a “Montre avec automate” (Watch with automaton).

The movement used in this watch is very similar to those manufactured by Didisheim-Goldschmidt Fils & Cie, Fabrique Juvenia, La Chaux-de-Fonds, with the technical characteristic that the escapement is mounted on an independent platform. Note that the cardboard box of the Hemmeler company takes up the design of this same calibre.

However, we have no idea why this watch is marked "Hedy's Patent" and what this refers to.
