ASPREY LOTUS GOLD ENAMEL AMETHYST MOTHER OF PEARL AND DIAMOND Asprey, London. Made in 1997. Exquisite and extremely rare, yellow gold, enamel, mother-of-pearl, diamond and amethyst quartz chronometer table clock. Accompanied by the original leather presentation box.

C. Circular base on three stepped legs, translucent aqua enamel over guilloche with diamond-set lines, polished gold rim, two sides with mother-of-pearl and enamel inlaid gold Japanese Dogwood flowers, the front panel in two sections for the doors which open by turning the mother-of-pearl engraved lotus flower on the top, the doors with diamond-set borders and diamond and enamel Japanese Dogwood flowers, all panels with translucent salmon enamel over guilloche, separated by translucent white and aqua enamel over guilloche columns, set with diamonds on the capitals, the very top lotus flower with a row of diamonds below and a large amethyst in the centered bordered by diamonds.
D. Aqua translucent enamel over guilloche, surrounded by a heart shaped diamond set border, rotating with two other guilloche gold panels. Yellow gold baton hands.
M. With quartz standardization, the central area removed to set the time. Dial and case signed, case hallmarked with maker and for London. Height 15.2 cm. Total weight 2.095 kilograms.
