Gilded brass and glass, 8-day going, keyless-winding, vertical rectangular-shaped, Art Nouveau, easel desk-clock, with painted dial showing the castle of Chillon at the end of Lake Geneva and the Dents du Midi in the Chablais Alps in the Swiss canton of Valais.

Movement 19’’’ (probably by Angelus), rhodium-plated, going barrel, straight-line lever escapement, compensated balance and blued steel hairspring with terminal curve, two adjustments.

The Dents du Midi are a three-kilometre-long mountain range in the Chablais region of the Valais (canton of Valais, Switzerland). They overlook the Val d’Illiez and the Rhone valley to the south, face the Lac de Salanfe, an artificial reservoir, and are part of the Giffre massif. From Lake Geneva (Haut-lac), the summits can be seen in a spectacular way.
