A very fine, rare and attractive 18K. gold, quarter repeating watch with five automatons.
Small eccentric white enamel with Breguet numerals. Gold "spade" hands. The black enamelled dial plate with diamond inlaid foliage decoration is applied with a varycouloured chased automaton scene, driven by the repeating train, depicting a young girl pushed by a young boy, swinging on an escarpolette, in front of a fountain from which the water (simulated by a twisted glass rod) flows. Above the scene, two Cupids strike hours and quarters on two bells.
Repeating on a bell by depressing the pendant. In very good condition.
