The Edward Piguet tourbillon first series was made in an extremely small series between about 2002 to 2005. The process of cutting the rutilated quartz plate is extremely difficult and the small inclusions in the quartz are unique to each stone. This difficult process has resulted that less than 5 pieces were made per year.
