"Cabinet Watch" Audemars Piguet, Genève, "Jules Audemars", "Tourbillon Répétition Chronographe Rattrapante", case No. E 25836. Made in a limited edition of only 20 examples in 1999, the first watch in the ?Tradition of Excellence? cabinet series. Extremely fine and rare, large, minute-repeating, platinum gentleman's wristwatch with visible one-minute tourbillon regulator, co-axial round button split-seconds chronograph, register and a platinum Audemars Piguet deployant clasp.
C. Three-body, solid, polished and brushed, stepped bezel, straight lugs, transparent case back, sapphire crystals. D. Satiné silver with applied white gold radial Roman numerals on an outer "guilloché" reserve, 30-minute register at 3, aperture for the visible tourbillon regulator under a polished steel bridge at 6, carrying the seconds hand. White gold "feuille" hands. M. Cal. 2876, rhodium-plated, "fausses côtes" decoration, 38 jewels, lateral lever escapement with visible one-minute tourbillon regulator with steel cage with 3 equidistant polished steel arms, monometallic balance adjusted to 5 positions, self-compensating Breguet balance-spring, repeating on gongs by activating slide on the band. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 44 mm. Thickness 15 mm.
