?Split Seconds Chronograph? Audemars Piguet & Co., Brassus & Geneva, No. 4342. Made circa 1910. Very fine, keyless, 18K pink gold pocket watch with splitseconds chronograph and ?Extra? adjustment.
C. Four-body, "demi-bassine,? solid, polished, hinged gold cuvette. D. White enamel with painted Arabic numerals, outer minute and 1/5th seconds chronograph divisions, subsidiary sunk seconds dial. Gilt ?Louis XI" hands. M. Cal. 17''', maillechort, "fausses côtes" deco-ration, 23 jewels, straight line counterpoised lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance with ?Extra? adjustment, blued steel Breguet balance spring, ?swan-neck? micrometer regulator, visible chronograph works, split-seconds mechanism under the dial. Dial and movement signed, case numbered. Diam. 47 mm.
