Stainless Steel ?Royal Oak Tourbillon with Power Reserve? Audemars Piguet, Genève, "Royal Oak, Automatique Tourbillon, 1972-1997", movement No. 386170, case No. D 92159, ref. ST 25831. Made in a limited edition of 25 examples in 1997 for the 25th Anniversary of the Royal Oak model. Sold on 10th February, 2000. Very fine and extremely rare, important, large, self-winding, stainless steel gentleman's wristwatch with visible one-minute tourbillon regulator, date, power reserve indication and a stainless steel Audemars Piguet bracelet with concealed deployant clasp. Accompanied by a fitted box, certificate and spare gilt dial.

C. Three-body, polished and brushed, case back with 8 screws, octagonal bezel with 8 hexagonal pink gold screws, folding hand-setting crown on the back, sapphire crystal. D. Dark blue ?clous de Paris? with applied luminous white gold indexes, subsidiary dials for the date and power reserve, aperture for the tourbillon regulator under a polished steel three-equidistant-arm bridge at 6. Luminous gold "baton" hands. M. Cal 2875, rhodiumplated, "fausses côtes" decoration, 25 jewels, lateral lever escapement with one-minute tourbillon regulator, monometallic balance adjusted to heat, cold, isochronism and 5 positions, self-compensating flat balance spring, platinum iridium rotor. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 40 mm. Thickness 12 mm.
