"Monochrome Yellow" Audemars Piguet & Co., Genève, No. 46964. Made circa 1945. Very fine and rare, 18K yellow gold gentleman's wristwatch with oval button chronograph, registers, tachometer and an 14K yellow gold buckle.
C. Three-body, solid, polished, concave lugs. D. Satiné gold with applied yellow gold square indexes and Arabic numeral, outer minute and 1/5th seconds track, blue outermost tachometer graduated to 1000 units/hour. Subsidiary guilloché dials for the seconds, the 30-minute and 12-hour registers. Yellow gold "baton" hands. M. Cal. 13''', rhodium-plated, 21 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance adjusted to 8 positions, blued steel Breguet balance spring. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 33 mm.
