"City of Sails" Audemars Piguet, Genève, "Royal Oak - City of Sails", Automatic Chronograph, case No. E-77743, Ref. 25979. Made in a limited edition of 1250 pieces for the 30th Anniversary of the Royal Oak in 2003 and dedicated to the "Alinghi" team, winner of the America's Cup 2003. Very fine and rare, tonneau-shaped, self-winding, waterresistant, stainless steel gentleman's wristwatch with round button chronograph, registers, date and a stainless steel Audemars Piguet deployant clasp on a rubber strap. Accompanied by a fitted box and certificate.

Three-body, polished and brushed, case back and octagonal bezel secured with 8 hexagonal screws, screwed-down hexagonal winding-crown and buttons, case back engraved with 2 racing boats, sapphire crystal. D. Bicolor anthracite and black, "Clousde- Paris" decoration with luminous radial Arabic numerals, subsidiary dials for the seconds, the 12-hour (with red Alinghi logo) and 30-minute registers, aperture for the date. Luminous baton hands. M. Cal. 2385, rhodium-plated, "oeil-de-perdrix" decoration, 37 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance adjusted to heat, cold, isochronism and 5 positions, shock absorber, self-compensating flat balance spring, 21K gold rotor segment. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 40 mm. Thickness 11 mm.
